Hints

Murkwick has a built-in hint system — if you're stuck, open the Journal (the 📖 button) for your current goal and graduated clues, or just wait a moment in a room and the game will nudge you. Holding Space (or tapping 💡) highlights everything you can interact with in a scene.

Common questions

I can't find the cave on the beach. Have the merchant in the village read your map first — then it appears on the far left of the beach.

The seal in the depths won't break. It needs two things: holy water (or the witch's brew) and the bell in the tower to have been rung.

My progress vanished. Saves are stored locally on your device; clearing your browser data or reinstalling the app will reset them.
